ARTIFICIAL NAIL TECHNICIAN COURSE – FOUNDATION LEVEL

Nail Extension services have never been more popular.  They are a great way to earn money and with the latest product development, the results have never looked so natural.  Offering this service alongside Manicure and Pedicure is a great way to cater for all potential customers, this will maximise your ability to generate profit and grow your successful business.

This course is designed to provide the necessary foundation for the aspiring Nail Technician.  The course incorporates theory, demonstrations and practical sessions which have all been developed to provide the correct level of learning required and also to make the course informative and enjoyable.

Unlike most of our competitor’s courses we have included specific skills sessions where you work with your tutor to improve your particular level of skill.

Duration - 2 Days from 9.30am to 4.30pm

System - Gel or Liquid and Powder

Fee – £60/day

Training Kit – Gel - £80 (inc lamp), Liquid & Powder - £55

Entry requirements- open to all people who have the minimum of a pass certificate in Cuccio Manicure.

You will be working in pairs during your training.

DAY 1

Theory

• Hygiene for Client & Technician
• Health and Safety including safety with chemicals
• Client Consultation
• Jargon busting, understanding Industry speak
• Overview of all systems their features and benefits

Practical:

• Nail Preparation
• Tip Application
• Blending
• Introduction to product application, getting a feel for the product

 DAY 2

This day really centres on practical skills.

Theory

• Product Chemistry
• Aftercare
• Product Removal

Practical

• Product Application
• Filing and Buffing
• Product Removal

 All trainees are assessed as part of their course, following this assessment you will be awarded the appropriate certificate; pass, merit or distinction.

To enable your tutor to assess your work, you will be required to complete a small number of case studies and coursework; this will include post course photos of some of the nails you have applied.
